Wretch 32-Unorthodox ft. Example [Distance Dubstep Remix]

Following on from yesterday’s release of the excellent video for Wretch & Example’s new song, ‘Dubstep juggernaut’ Distance has come through with this huge dubstep remix.

Attention all dubstep producers; this is how you remix a hip hop track. Whilst retaining some of the elements of Stone Roses sample, Distance provides a more atmospheric vibe to the song, completely flipping the fun-nature of the song into a more hard-hitting one.

Download is available below, which will certainly tied you over until the original single (which the artwork for is on the left) sees its release on April the 18th.

Wretch 32-Unorthodox ft. Example [Video]

Wretch 32 hammers home some more visuals for us to enjoy with these being for his next single, Unorthodox, featuring Example. Other than my first impressions of the audio itself, this video really does enhance the song. The fun, vibrant nature of the song is amplified through the video which is rich with colour, histrionics and the general uniqueness that you often find on the streets and with the people of London.

I forgot how good the hook that Example provides on this is; Wretch has another big hit on his hands. The single is being released in 6 weeks time, which is unfortunate as I want the mp3 for this now.

Oh yeah, cheeky cameos by Yasmin and Chipmunk in this video, see if you can spot them.

Wretch 32-Unorthodox ft. Example [Radio Rip]

Premièred yesterday; here is a new collaboration between rising UK star Wretch 32 & Example. Sampling the epic Stone Roses Fools Gold, Wretch flows nicely as we all know he can.

Delivering clever wordplay (heard recently that Devlin refers to Wretch as “Mr. Metaphor” ha!) this track will certainly keep most of you interested. Example contributes by singing the addictive chorus.

Shouts to @Ross_Scott for pointing me in the direction of this. Unfortunately I have no audio for you as of yet though.

Skream & Example - Shot Yourself In The Foot Again [Official Video]

One for the dubstep fans now. I’m not going to protest to being an expert on dub, but I’m quite partial to a track or two if it’s good enough. Example links up with one of dubstep’s most dominant producers, Skream, to bring us what will surely be the first big dub track of the year.

I have to say I’m in love with this tune and the accompanying video. Produced by Example himself, the video takes you on the moral dilemma of spending a birthday night out with your mates or an evening in with your other half: We’ve all been there. One quick drink leads to another and before you know it you’re on a full scale bender. The raw emotion and passion shown in the video only helps to improve the track and adds another dimension, even more so if you’ve been in a similar situation yourself (or is that just me?). Either way, the video is a great showcase of both Example’s video producing skills and the track itself.

You can download the radio version or extended version of the track, for free, from here.

Tinchy Stryder-Game Over Official Video ft. Giggs, Professor Green, Tinie Tempah, Devlin, Example & Chipmunk

Official video to one of the biggest tracks in Grime history (yeah I’m putting it out there). I do feel at times that there’s too much dissing going on in the UK scene, I appreciate the competitive side of the genre and that it was a genre born from battling, but seeing the biggest MCs collaborate like they have on this track is just superb to see.

Nothing flashy about the video, but it’s pretty good, keeps the focus on each MC which highlights each of their unique lyrical ability and flow on the mic.

Best verse for me would have to go to Devlin, there’s nobody spitting like him over on these shores. Audio can be attained from here.

This track was premièred last week on the radio and I’ve been waiting impatiently for a good quality version. Thanks to London To MK, we finally have a CDQ of this star studded lineup.

UK stand up tall.
