Really good one this, especially if you’re good with alternative rock/pop-punk. There’s a likelihood you’re alright with that sound if you liked the original, as it definitely had lashings of the style, especially on the hook.
The original does grow on me with every listen, though I have to be honest: it seems to suit a rock band better, and the punk sound applied here feels like it rounds the song off slightly better. Not to suggest it is entirely better, but from a production and instrumental standpoint it feels much more complete.
