Interpol-Lights Video

Filling in for Ed here, as he’s currently recovering from surgery (buttock implants). I can’t really comment much on this as I’ve never been an Interpol fan, but I know Ed really likes these guys so they probably appeal to most other people of an indie disposition, as opposed to my perenially unpredictable tastes.

I had a very brief flick through the video, and it is definitely weird. That much, I can confirm. The audio for the track can be collected here.

Interpol New Album Info!!

Interpol being the band responsible for some of my favorite moments in music, I was pleased to learn that they had completed work on their 4th LP last month. Their first two albums Turn Off The Bright Lights and Antics were absolute works of art, which is why much excitement is mustered by talk of the new album hailing back to their original sound (after the mild disappointment of Our Love To Admire). The record is also said to be the last upon which bassist Carlos Dengler works with the band, he is set to be replaced by a number of other musicians.

Check out the hype and download Lights, a new track from the album, with information as to the time of its release yet to be disclosed, so keep your eyes and ears here for the news when it breaks….
