Ah Punk Goes Pop. It’s becoming quite the legendary series, and the next instalment is only a few weeks away. The one thing that tends to ruin these albums is that the tracks sound really good for the first two-thirds of the song, and then for some reason end up with screaming and growling. Er, why? It’s supposed to be punk goes pop, not metal.
Anyway, whilst this is no different, the growling is extremely minimal and doesn’t last too long. The rest of the track is actually pretty decent, and isn’t really too different to the original as it’s pretty poppy and doesn’t have much by way of guitars. Definitely one to check out, though you’d be forgiven for skipping the last quarter of the song.
