A nice mixture of soul tracks and R&B stuff in this week’s episode, all from acts everyone should be familiar with.
No posts of note to recap on from the week gone by, though there are a few news bites, particularly Chris Brown’s announcement of a hip-hop mixtape to be released soon, and Drake confirming the first official single from Take Care is set to drop any day now.
In the meantime, click below for this week’s scheduled programming.

Pretty big fan of all of the acts involved here, and the synergy of them all is very successful. We’re treated to a very uplifting, motivating and upbeat track that brings the best out of all involved.
Double-O’s one of the more underrated producers in the game, and here he serves up a bouncy production that oozes a summery, celebratory feel. Tabi and Naledge brings some very solid rhymes, seemingly enjoying their position as stars in the hip-hop game, and having no problems in articulating that throughout their bars. One Chance round things off with a decent hook that blends very well with the production, playing off the aforementioned uplifting quality nicely.
The video here seems to be just a teaser, and hopefully we’ll get a full video soon. There’s a lot they could do with this track, and hopefully we’ll see something good come of it. Audio can be grabbed here.

I’m sure you can forgive me for this being a couple of days late: having no laptop sort of makes things a little difficult! Hence, I’ll not keep you too long out here in the cold and away from the R&B.
Whilst I’m told the pre-episode recaps are going down well, in the interests of time you can take care of it yourself for this week by clicking the R&B category at the top of this page, which should fill you in appropriately. Click on for this week’s episode.

Good amount of stuff in here for your enjoyment, without swarming you with too many tracks. As ever, there’s a lot of variety with some upcomers, newcomers and established artists all contributing this week.
Couple of R&B posts this week you may have missed: the final version of Johnta Austin’s Close Your Eyes, and the official video for The-Dream’s Make Up Bag. After those treats, click on for some more.

Sorry for the delay guys, as you know we were hacked on Friday night so I couldn’t get this out.
A nice even 20 tracks of new stuff for you this week, and lots of variety in there too in terms of styles and artists. Probably leaning more towards well-known artists this week, although there are still a couple of newbies for you to start getting into.
The quality is really high in this one, so be sure to give most/all of it a go. I’ve kindly weeded out most of the rubbish stuff, irrespective of artist calibre: I’m feeling ruthless! (Grr, roar etc)

Another regularly-sized episode, which pleases me greatly. Good R&B (and some non R&B…) in here as ever, with plenty of big names sitting alongside some of our favourite newcomers such as Brutha and Bruno Mars. Click on for your weekly R&B allowance.

The next label to blow up after Cash Money is probably going to be these guys. Like Cash Money, some of their roster are sh*t but some are also very good: Travis McCoy and One Chance specifically are two great acts.
Interested to see what they bring, and maybe checking out some of his other artists that we might not be too familiar with yet. I liked The Manual from a little while back, so this could be decent.

Similar to last week’s episode, this one contains a nice blend of big names, up-and-comers and some that we (I) haven’t heard from in a while.
We’ve dropped some R&B-related goodies throughout the week too, be sure to scroll down a couple of posts and check out the video for Usher’s lead single from Raymond vs. Raymond. When you’ve done that, scroll back up and enter the R&B room.

A phenomenally original post title for this collection of new music. New stuff from John Mayer, Game, Jamie Foxx/Justin Timberlake and much more from loads of big names after the click.
I need to stop having to resort to multiple track-filled posts and post this sh*t up when I get it, like I used to. Bad habits eh?

Bit of a bittersweet moment here. First off, it’s R&B Fridays’ 20th so that’s cool. However, due to illness I’ve been unable to really make this a huge/crazy extravaganza, like I did for ep. 10. Woops.
With that said, it’s still another great edition. Usher takes up 3 coveted spots this week as his new album nears, and there are tracks from Keri Hilson, Alicia Keys and more.

Unfortunately, this week’s post isn’t quite as packed as the last R&B Friday (largely because I’ve already dropped of a lot of big R&B tracks throughout the past week). There are some good tracks in here though, just not quite as many.
Click below to grab new stuff from regulars Akon, Ne-Yo, Lloyd and more.

Ne-Yo makes it into the picture for the second time in R&B Friday history, just because he can. Can you believe this is already 8 episodes deep?
You know the drill.
