Didn’t mind this track at all when it first came out, and whilst the video is extremely delayed, it’s certainly a single worth pushing for these relative newcomers.
Video fits the song fairly well, and seems to play off the emotional nature of Nikki’s vocals more than the night-time vibe of the production and lyrics. I’d have probably preferred a video that did the latter, as the dramatic images of cityscapes and dark skies always makes for quite compelling and generally digestable videos.
Not to say the video is totally disappointing, as it does the job for sure, but could have been a whole lot better. Can’t disagree with the audio though, which still stands up as a solid R&B/pop piece. Grab the track here.
