R&B Fridays: Episode 56

After the success of last week’s R&B Friday, I’ve once again picked up Ajay’s mantle this week and have for you another quality episode.

Here we have for you some big names in Ciara, Usher, JLS, Chris Brown, Keri Hilson, Omarion and we also have for you some newcomers. Up and coming regulars of this weekly feature like Jackie Boyz & Rock City also make an appearance, as you’d expect by now.

So click on for a load of tracks that will keep you entertained until your next scheduled fix!

Edit: I’ve since received the official album version of the new Usher track (with a different, new Pitbull verse) so come inside and grab the even higher quality one.

R&B Fridays: Episode 49 (Also, My 1000th Post!)

49 episodes in, and the fantastic material still keeps coming. The common theme of recent weeks has been a frightening consistency in the quality, as we’ve seen some superb R&B tracks being let loose in anticipation of the summer. Whereas previous R&B Fridays have been a bit of a struggle to fill/review, the past few weeks have certainly made my (busy) life a lot easier!

This week is no different, and you’ve got some very good stuff to look forward to in your immediate future from the likes of Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Amerie and many more. Not as many lesser-known names as there usually are, instead we’ve got the more established names looking to make their mark. Click on to let them know if they got it right.

Edit: This is my 1000th post on this site, on the eve of my final University exam. Celebrations aplenty!

R&B Fridays: Episode 46

Some very good music from new upcomers in this episode, and I expect you’ll definitely find a new artist to latch onto in here. Some stuff from R&B Fridays favourites such as Bruno Mars too of course, and plenty of it with a total of 21 tracks making the final cut for this episode.

Click on for that weekly R&B fix you’ve been begging for. Don’t pretend like you weren’t.

Jeezy-Mama Told Me

This is a rough version of a track set for Thug Motivation 103. You’re going to want to grab this one, as there’s some talk that Beyonce might be doing the hook on the final version which could be awesome. It’s Ester Dean on the hook right now, but she does a lot of demo/reference stuff, so there is a good likelihood of this happening.

Track itself is decent, I like this production and Jeezy brings his usual delivery. Also, as you may have noticed he’s dropped the Young from his name. Probably makes sense.

R&B Fridays: Episode 37

There are some utterly awesome tracks in this episode, and I have no qualms with name-checking the new Janet Jackson track as the definite highlight of this episode. Of course, the rest is very good too, but that track is sweet.

Click on for new music from Ne-Yo, Mario and more.

Another New Track From 50 Cent

50c
This song is going to split opinion, you’ll either love it or hate it. 50 Cent with a dab of autotune? Now I’ve heard everything.

A track that is very much like Black Eyed Peas’ Boom Boom Pow, it’s unclear whether this is going to be on his new album or not – apparantly it’s just a demo, but I can see this techno-backed track being a hit on the radio and in the clubs….go judge for yourself by clicking below.
