Couple of days off on this, but with 15 rappers on one song, I think you’ll probably let it slide. For those that aren’t familiar with Racks, it’s essentially one of those infectious mainstream hip-hop tracks that comes out of nowhere and takes on a life of its own, helped in part by various rappers jumping on the beat (don’t worry, I’ve labelled them in order for you!).
14 of them join YC here, some having released remixes prior to this official all-star compliation, with most being very well known names. It’s hard to pick a winning verse from the bunch, though B.o.B, Trae Tha Truth and Nelly (surprisingly) made enjoyable contributions.

Interesting remix we have here, Yo Gotti really has pulled a rabbit out the hat with the features on this!
Very interesting to hear Wale, J. Cole & Wiz Khalifa spit on a track that is very much ‘Dirty Southern’ in nature, the kind of track you’d normally associate with Young Jeezy.

In the mess that was yesterday’s ‘technical difficulties’, there were a couple of collabos that didn’t get posted. Throw those in with another from earlier today, and we’ve got a nice little triple pack for you. Enjoy.

Also featuring DJ Drama, Yo Gotti, Diamond & Shawty Lo, this is one monster of a remix! With a beat that’s full of lots of bass this is one posse cut you probably don’t want to miss out on.

As I’m sure you’re aware by now, Bun B’s third album Trill O.G. drops this Tuesday.
Not crazy about this joint right here, but I would say that because I have his joint with Premo literally on repeat at the moment!

You can guess by the title of the track, and features on this, exactly what kind of track this is, so if you’re a fan of any of these artists then this is one you should most definitely be picking up! This is off Yo Gotti’s mixtape with DJ Frama & Whoo Kid which is titled – Cocaine Muzik 4.5.

Yo Gotti joins Young Jeezy on the official remix to All White Everything. Jeezy’s just shot a video for the single, so look forward to that one. Ajay’s thoughts on the original pretty much sums up mine on this though.

Couple of tracks here to warm you up for tonight’s R&B Friday. These two were slightly too hip-hop for me to include, so I’ve decided to let them loose now. Enjoy the quality of these two tracks, as tonight’s episode is going to be of similar/better standard.

Here’s the original version of a track that featured on Clipse’s last album, Til The Casket Drops. On the original we have singer Lloyd on the hook, who for some reason got cut from the album version. If you didn’t catch the album that this was on, and thus haven’t heard the track before, then this is one that would fit in nicely on your car playlist.

This would be the much-anticipated official remix to Banks’ massive hit. I have to say that whilst I didn’t mind the original, this version is probably better.
The beat has been changed a little, which could have been terrible given how good the original beat was, but it definitely improves the track and it’s a rare case where ‘fixing what ain’t broke’ works. The guest spots are all decent, with Ludacris definitely bringing his A-game, and The-Dream coming through nicely. Banks’ does a good job too, and does Jada. Never really been big on Gotti. Definitely one to check out.
