We Stole The Show-Card Trick Freestyle [Video]

A big shout to We Stole The Show here. After I posted the brilliant WSTS video I Want You, the guys kindly got in touch through Twitter and asked of we’d leave them a word or two to fit into a freestyle that they were about to do.

So after a lot of thought (naturally), I decided to see how they’d fit Overrating The Underrated in, no idea where I got the inspiration from.

Watch the video to see the result. Jump to 5:09 for the OTU line, which he kills. I’d recommend watching the whole thing though, just to see how they go in off the dome with the other word suggestions they’ve had thrown their way.

We Stole The Show-I Want You [Video]

This video dropped in my inbox a couple of days ago and it’s fair to say it’s caught my attention. WSTS are a two piece underground hip-hop/electro group hailing from New York, featuring emcees Rhyson Hall and Grand Phee, and this track is set to feature on a soon to be released mixtape from We Stole The Show.

As for the track, it’s a simple yet addictive electro beat with Rhyson providing the vocals, which actually have some resemblances to Maxi Jazz of Faithless’ work. The video itself is based around a Twilight Zone type scenario: check it out and see what you think.
