We’ve had some big names in hip-hop for the last few posts, so let’s take it underground again.
I’ve slept on this for a little while, and completely forgot to put it up. D.Black is a rapper who has similarities to Common in terms of his style, and also draws comparisons to other underground acts such as Tanya Morgan and Consequence.
The beat is soulful, the raps are nice and it’s an all-round good joint that most hip-hop fans should like. This beat was actually used by 50 Cent for the track London Girl from his recent War Angel mixtape, after 50 took it from an old Vitamin D beat CD.
