This will allow us to bring you monthly snapshots of all five authors’ posted material. Rakaa - Delilah [Video]

Video for Rakaa’s Delilah lifted straight from his upcoming project Crown Of Thorns.

Not sure about this track yet. Can’t fault Rakaa’s flows though and I imagine this will be one which I won’t skip but will just keep the album ticking over.

Quick Blast(s): Rakaa (of Dilated Peoples)

Rakaa from Dilated Peoples is dropping his debut solo LP titled Crown Of Thorns on July 20th.

It will be interesting to see how well he holds his own on a full length LP without the rest of his DP counterparts. On the evidence (see what I did there!?) of these two drops though, I have a feeling he will be just fine.

On these two we have production from frequent Mobb Deep collaborators Alchemist and Sid Roams so that is a straight up win for me on that front. Vocally, Rakaa enlists Evidence, Defari and Fashawn. Again, win. Two very different tracks. Two very different outcomes. Looking forward to this.
