New mixtape from DJ Kay Slay which features a whole host of familiar names. From the likes of Raekwon, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Styles P, Papoose, Vado, Maino and Ghostface Killah, we can see a huge New York influence on this mixtape (wouldn’t expect any less from Kay Slay!).

It’s this kind of line up which would have the late, great Notorious feeling proud for his boy Lil Cease.
Not particularly sure where this has surfaced from so just enjoy it until I get more info.

G-Unit affiliate Trav & Papoose collaborate for this street banger, with Papoose slaying this song. Starting to sound like a broke record now, but I really wish he’d get on his grind and try and recapture some of that street buzz that got him that million dollar deal, (which seems like a lifetime ago now!)

I didn’t know who to pick for the image, so please enjoy this dog in scuba gear.
25 rappers, I kid you not. So many in fact, I couldn’t add them all into the song title in iTunes! I’ve listed them below, and they can also be found in the ‘description’ section of the track.

Proving us all wrong is Papoose, back on the scene again with another VERY nice piece of lyrical work.
Simple New-York-esq beat which allows Pap to drop some nice lines.

Papoose fans will enjoy this, his version of Drake’s ‘Over’.

It was only a matter of time before this happened – some bright spark has mixed together the several different versions of this track.
The only disappointment is that they seemed to have forgotten Budden and Royce’s verses.

Talking of artists who used to have a big buzz.
New shizz from Papoose. Seems like 2010 is looking up for him after getting back into the studio and beginning to get back on his grind again. Let’s hope this time around it’s a more productive outcome.
This certainly, by a long way, isn’t my thing. But, I can imagine it hitting the club scene pretty hard in part due to its catchy chorus and commercial friendliness.

I was meant to post these tracks over the course of last week but was too lazy didn’t have time.

The title of this track is a little funny considering the line up, it’s pretty decent though and worth checking out.

Two new tracks by Papoose, the first ’09 Obituary is a tribute to those who died in 2009, over 2Pac’s Keep Ya Head Up beat. The Second track is a more typical Papoose track, going hard on a savage beat which has a Biggie sample as the chorus.
Really liking both of these tracks, it shows the versatility that Papoose is capable of. At the same time it makes me shake my head at the fact he is yet to make a studio album after so many years in the game.

That’s what it is. 6 tracks I’ve collected over the last few days from a range of acts after the click. Mostly big names in this one, so be sure to grab this stuff, as it’s all pretty good too.

A new Diddy/Dirty Money video for the track Angels. To pick up another Dirty Money track (and find out who else is in the group!), specifically club-banger Love Come Down, click here.
As well as that, there are a couple of new Papoose videos which are worth a watch (purely because it’s so rare to find him making music videos!).
You will not want to miss out on seeing Diddy do something so different…so click on.

Back in ’05/’06 Papoose’s buzz could not be any bigger, releasing 13 mixtapes in less than 2 years. It landed him a $1.5m contract to release his debut album The Nacirema Dream with Jive Records….
Fast forward to ’09 and that album never materialised. No longer with Jive Records, Papoose has gone back to what he knows – the mixtape scene. I’ve only just listened to his mixtape Military Grind, which was released a few months ago, and it’s actually very good. Click below to find some of the better tracks from that mixtape – as well as a few classics from Papoose’s collection.
