Slaughterhouse-Sun Doobie

Really not sure how I completely missed this, I guess I got too lost in the Lupe Fiasco excitement, but this dropped earlier: a new track from the (recently Shady-signed) Slaughterhouse boys.

Produced by Mr. Porter, we’re given a very good hip hop sounding lyrical affair (come on, did you expect any less?). Will be on their upcoming EP, of which the tracklisting for can be checked out over here.

Royce Da 5'9"/Joe Budden – My Own Planet

The original to this featured Big Sean, who did a mighty fine job of it too. Little weird that Joey’s taken this long to jump on it, but we’re always appreciative of hearing something new from him.

Eminem, Royce and Mr. Porter -Westwood Freestyle Video

Finally get the entire visuals for the freestyle (it was previously released in 2 or 3 seperate parts, which was annoying).

Should be an interesting watch for any hip-hop fan, and it’s no bad thing to get a better feel for the freestyle.

Audio is available here.

Eminem, Royce Da 5’9″ and Mr. Porter Freestyle

Some much anticipated audio from their recent appearance on Tim Westwood. 9 minutes from 3 of Detroit’s finest, and all a beat supplied by the excellent Alchemist. Doesn’t get too much better for the hip-hop heads, so be sure to grab that audio below.

Royce Da 5′9″, Mr. Porter & Big Sean-My Own Planet

The mystery rapper for the full version of this track has been revealed to be Big Sean, I loved the original version and a Big Sean verse at the end further enhances the awesomeness of this song. This is on the re-release of Royce’s album, Street Hop, which is available from iTunes now I believe. Grab this track below.

Royce Da 5’9″ and Mr. Porter-My Own Planet

Possibly one of the most rounded hip-hop tracks I’ve heard from Royce. He usually comes on a raw tip, but this one has a much more clean and complete feel about it, and will certainly be accessible to those of you yet to get into the lyrical rapper.

Nice to hear new original material from Royce too, as opposed to a freestyle. There’s an empty verse, and there will be another (unrevealed) rapper on the final version.

Mr. Porter (of D12 fame) drops off a fantastic beat, which has a nice old-school feel in the percussion that’s supported by a smattering of futuristic synths making up the melody. Catchy hook too, and do I need to hype Royce’s rapping ability? No, because you’re not stupid…are you?
