I’m glad that we’ve got some promotional material for Edo G’s latest project. I was saying on my Twitter only a few days ago that with all this hype surrounding Globin and ELmatic, people shouldn’t sleep on this very good hip-hop effort.

Not the strongest from the album by any means here, but the visuals are exactly the type of thing I expected with Edo strolling through the streets of Boston and a few cameos here and there.

Edo G’s A Face In The Crowd can be obtained on 17th May.

There’s also his collaboration with a certain DJ Premier kicking around these parts somewhere…

I got pretty excited when I heard this yesterday so it’s only right that you have the opportunity that I had too.

Heads, you already know what hip-hop stalwart Edo G has to offer the mic, but let’s be honest here; this is all about the Premo boardwork. The greatest producer of all time comes through with his characteristic, smooth and delicate piano keys in-tact with KRS-One, Guru and M.O.P. scratches creating that signature Premo sound. It might not be his best ever beat, but it’s classic DJ Premier and deserves your attention on that basis alone.
