Only the second song I’ve heard from Nina B, (the first being this song I posted last week). Must say I’ll definitely be checking for this girl’s stuff in the future as she once again delivers a well made song. This is a track about a former boyfriend of hers, and she raps, over some very good production, about the issues she has with moving on.
Apart from Kay Slay I don’t know who the other people are on the features, in fact I can’t see (hear) where they’ve collaborated on this actual song. They all feature in the official video though, of which the trailer you can see over to the left.

New mixtape from DJ Kay Slay which features a whole host of familiar names. From the likes of Raekwon, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Styles P, Papoose, Vado, Maino and Ghostface Killah, we can see a huge New York influence on this mixtape (wouldn’t expect any less from Kay Slay!).

Apologies for the inconsistency/delays in posting over the last 24-36 hours, material keeps coming whenever I’m unavailable!
This one landed in my lap yesterday, but a little too late for posting. Kay Slay gets four of the fastest, most experienced spitters in the hip-hop game together and draws some tongue-twisting verses out of them. Of the rappers included, I’ve always been a bigger fan of Busta, and it’s great to hear him snapping like this again as he’s always more enjoyable when he brings his high-tempo game. Understandably, it takes a few listens to catch any of the lyrics but Twista probably edges it in that respect, while Jaz-O probably has the most diversity with his flows. Great little bit of hip-hop, you can’t help but admire this sort of flow.

I didn’t know who to pick for the image, so please enjoy this dog in scuba gear.
25 rappers, I kid you not. So many in fact, I couldn’t add them all into the song title in iTunes! I’ve listed them below, and they can also be found in the ‘description’ section of the track.

I don’t know where to start. I’ve forever been a massive Final Fantasy fanboy, especially 7 which is definitely my favourite game of all-time. Kay Slay samples the theme for Sephiroth, voted by many institutions as the greatest video game villain ever.
Sephiroth’s theme was so badass too (eventually, get to about 4:30), it was a matter of time before someone sampled it. I have to be honest, and say they haven’t really done it justice here. It’s still nice to hear it though, and at least it’s something different.

DJ Kay Slay grabs these two hip-hop heavy hitters (and Young Money’s Jae Millz) for another leak (leaky bucket syndrome: see below) from his upcoming album.
Feeling this beat, and Joell’s opening verse is very good. Jae Millz isn’t completely terrible, but definitely gets overshadowed by the two rappers around him as Saigon comes in and does his thing as ever. Liking some of Sai’s rhyming patterns on this one, good job.

Quick one from me, with another leak from DJ Kay Slay’s upcoming album. Unlike some of the other leaks, the features on this are some real hard-hitters, and this should be a great track on the strength of these three rappers.

The title of this track is a little funny considering the line up, it’s pretty decent though and worth checking out.

That’s what it is. 6 tracks I’ve collected over the last few days from a range of acts after the click. Mostly big names in this one, so be sure to grab this stuff, as it’s all pretty good too.

Two tracks for you below, both with some good features. If I’m honest, I’m expecting the Blockstars Remix to be a bit of a mixed bag, as some of those guys can go, whereas others aren’t so hot (original version here). I’ve got high hopes for Fat Raps though (produced by Chuck Inglish of The Cool Kids) as I expect all 3 to bring something good to the table. Surprisingly, Chip and Curren$y make their first appearances on this site.
Make your own judgements, mine’s just based on the line-ups so click below and have a listen.

From DJ Kay Slay’s upcoming album, grab the Dr. Dre produced Dreamin’ below. It’s a pretty decent track, and as expected the beat is pretty nice.
