D12-Kill Zone [Video]

D12 will be releasing a new mixtape, Return Of The Dozen Pt. 2, on April the 12th and we have the first visuals from the first drop. What we have is a very lyrical track that features no hook, shying away from the previous ‘mainstream’ endeavours this group has come out with in the past. It’s a welcome reminder that these boys can actually spit.

The video itself is very dope, with some excellent effects in place.

Sidenote: These guys have aged a lot in the past few years.

D12-I Go Off

Some new D12 to get into this morning. Obviously there are two noticeable absentees but I actually really enjoy the Detroit group spitting over a much more underground oriented instrumental. Although Em brings his lyrical prowess to the table when featured, you can’t deny he also understandably brings an element of commercialism with him. Swift and Kuniva are massivley underrated emcees and capable of pioneering the success of the group themselves. I just wished they put more material out. Bizarre still sucks.

Kuniva (of D12) - Midwest Marauders [Free Mixtape]

That guy from D12 (Kuniva) releases a free mixtape for us to check out the tracklist of which can be viewed after the jump.

Not sure how I feel about this as a massive A Tribe Called Quest fan. Although nice touch with the artwork to include fellow Detroit counterparts’ mug-shots in the background.
