Laidback, easygoing vibes from Chip and Wale to finish off your Monday evening.
The production has a wistful, drifty sample as its core melody, and one that’ll catch your ear both for its pitch and effective simplicity, whilst the percussion slowly winds through the track and enhances the aforementioned sample by remaining fairly unobtrusive. Chip brings a decent verse and a solid hook, both packaged in a mellow delivery that synergises with the production well, whilst his lyrical content sticks true to the somewhat lavish and indulgent title. Wale injects the track with more sharpness, as his more urgent delivery contrasts with the relaxed style of Chip’s work for a little diversity. A good track that will fill out a playlist well enough, though lacks that ‘outstanding moment’ to be good enough to dominate one.

Plus a few other artists that I couldn’t fit into the title. Off that Str8 Killa EP, this is a track I was loving when it leaked and still loving now – so I’m delighted that they’ve made a video for it!
Audio <------- go get it, (if you missed it the first time numpty).

Some real quality chilled out hip-hop to take you through this morning. Loving the vibe to this track, with some very good verses by each rapper on this beat. This is the closing track on Freddie Gibbs upcoming Str8 Killa EP, which is out August 3rd.

Complex, Vitamin Water and Don Cannon have hooked up for a three-track mixtape, each based on a city that LeBron James could be headed for when he decides the next phase of his career in July. Each track tries to convince him to head to that particular city, and will certainly make for interesting listening for both hip-hop and NBA fans. Some pretty big name artists involved too, so click on below to grab it/preview the tracks.

Cudi samples Christian Bale’s infamous rant into a hip-hop track. Sadly, he only seems to use it on the intro (unless I’ve missed it elsewhere on first listen), but it’s still funny.
Aside from that, this is brand new Cudi for fans to enjoy. Decent enough effort, with a pretty simple beat that does a good job in letting the raps come through more effectively. Will satisfy appetites until we get more album-related stuff.

Sometimes things slip under my radar, this dropped a couple of days back. I loved this track when it dropped almost a year ago, and it’s a great chilled out hip-hop track that sounds great in the car. Glad to see there have been visuals for it, and it’s always good getting some new Big Sean in any form.
As this was leaked a few months prior to this site being birthed, I’ve been gracious enough to provide the audio here. I’m alright like that. I’d recommend you definitely gave this a listen.

Two tracks for you below, both with some good features. If I’m honest, I’m expecting the Blockstars Remix to be a bit of a mixed bag, as some of those guys can go, whereas others aren’t so hot (original version here). I’ve got high hopes for Fat Raps though (produced by Chuck Inglish of The Cool Kids) as I expect all 3 to bring something good to the table. Surprisingly, Chip and Curren$y make their first appearances on this site.
Make your own judgements, mine’s just based on the line-ups so click below and have a listen.
