What is it with X on features today? Australian hip-hop powerhouse enlist the West coast legend for a joint from their recently released (and very good) Running On Air.
Aussie rap is something which we often sleep on over here, but as I demonstrated with Hilltop Hoods at the turn of the year, we are stupid to do so.
I always go straight for the bangers on unfamiliar projects (I know – It’s a bad habit) and both lyrically and production-wise this joint achieves that. I could have in fact dropped various others from the album, but wanted to give you a familiar name you could run with. Baby steps here people, baby steps.
