Every once in a while I will pop up with something a little bit different for your ears. As well as living in the past, I also stay in tune with the latest ‘sounds of the underground’ (for our UK readers, that wasn’t a Girls Aloud reference).
Having got my hands on a copy of B. Dolan’s underground sophomore Fallen House, Sunken City, I was pleased to stumble across the centre-piece of the album: Marvin.
Over haunting piano keys, Dolan explores the subject matter of Marvin Gaye’s death resulting in an extremely powerful climaxical (yeah, made another word up) end.
If, like Swedes, you like a little bit of salt on your brownie, then be sure to download here.
