Interesting story behind this one. J. Cole originally sent this to Jay-Z as a demo for Jay’s American Gangster album, and unfortunately the track was rejected. Flashforward a couple of years, and it has now surfaced. It’s both a decent track and an interesting reference point to see how far J. Cole’s come along since, so be sure to check it out.
