Clipse, Kenna and Pharrell-Life Change Video

From their massively-underrated Til The Casket Drops album, Life Change was undoubtedly one of the standout tracks and I’m surprised it took so long to get a video out for it.

Boasting a rich Neptunes production that adds some intensity and energy to the track, the Thornton brothers lace the beat with some fantastic introspective rhymes that when isolated may seem incongruent with the style of production, but they do work together surprisingly well, as the heavy synths project and strengthen the lyrics.

Good video too, with a believable and simple story throughout that compliments and enhances the lyrics appropriately. Throw in the customary shots of the artists, and you’ve got a decent video.

Kenna & Lupe Fiasco-Resurrection Video

Visuals for this Mike Shindoa-produced collab, which was one of the tracks from the Haiti Relief album. You should really look to get that album (the amount you pay is up to you) as not only is it a great cause, but the music on it is actually very good. Can be accquired (and previewed) here.

Linkin Park, Lupe Fiasco and Other Huge Names Unite For Haiti

Cracking idea. A host of massive names in music get together to compile a 10-track album of unreleased music to support the victims of the Haiti earthquake.

The widget here allows you to play all of the tracks, and if you click the link below you can get the whole album. It is a voluntary donation for the album, but to be honest if any of you are heartless enough to take an album aimed at such a good cause without donating even the smallest amount, you’re an absolute waste of space. Seriously.
