CYOA! Presents Tha Dogghouse at The Hideaway Bar, Saturday 22nd October

Inspired by Nick Hook’s (Cubic Zirconia) annual “Dre Day” in NYC, CYOA! are throwing a special intimate birthday bash for Big Snoop Dogg’s 40th!

On Saturday 22nd October we shall descend to the basement of the Hideaway in Archway for a night of Snoop music, videos and other paraphernalia! Feel free to dress accordingly (maybe in one of Snoop’s many failed fashion lines) and there will even be a free cup of Gin & Juice for everyone upon arrival at Tha Dogghouse!

40 YEARS OF THE D.O. DOUBLE G…IT’S CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE!

A must for any Snoop Dogg fan, be sure to stop by CYOA!’s celebration of Snoop’s 40th. Need motivation? Check out our recent Unnecessary Throwback for a reminder of the entertainment Snoop brings!

Last.fm Launches Monthly User-Curated Gigs

A couple of us here at OTU are longtime and frequent users of the Last.fm service, and it’s interesting to see this next step in their progression, a very smart one given all of the great data they have at their disposal.

Last.fm announces CocknBullKid as the headline act for the first monthly ‘Last.fm Presents’ gigs. The monthly flagship music events, taking place in London on the first Friday of every month, will be curated by Last.fm data and powered by listeners. The first gig will be held at The Garage, London, on Friday 7th October 2011. The events will include a range of live acts selected according to the popularity of listener’s scrobbles and the Last.fm Hype Charts – providing a line-up of the most popular and hottest up and coming artists.

When asked about her appearance at the primary Live Friday gig CocknBullKid said “All I’m saying is that there’ll be a story – a cradle to the grave journey. And it will be very interactive. There may even be vogueing.”
