Rick Ross-Rich Forever Mixtape

King of the adlibs, and one of those rappers whose verses have a nasty habit of getting stuck in your head, the boss Rick Ross comes through with a bumper 19-track mixtape, made up of what I believe to mostly be brand new, original material to satisfy those disappointed by the delay on his God Forgives, I Don’t album.

Plenty of features for the mainstream crowd to lap up, including Drake (who apparently goes at Common on his verse), Kelly Rowland, the ubiquitous 2 Chainz and more, alongside some for the rest of us including Nas, Stalley and Styles P. Production-wise, there’s an interesting mix of established guys and new names (to me, at least), which should make for a nice diverse listen as some of those newcomers look to prove themselves.
