Tinchy Stryder-Game Over Official Video ft. Giggs, Professor Green, Tinie Tempah, Devlin, Example & Chipmunk

Official video to one of the biggest tracks in Grime history (yeah I’m putting it out there). I do feel at times that there’s too much dissing going on in the UK scene, I appreciate the competitive side of the genre and that it was a genre born from battling, but seeing the biggest MCs collaborate like they have on this track is just superb to see.

Nothing flashy about the video, but it’s pretty good, keeps the focus on each MC which highlights each of their unique lyrical ability and flow on the mic.

Best verse for me would have to go to Devlin, there’s nobody spitting like him over on these shores. Audio can be attained from here.

I really dont get the hype around this track. Devlin is the only one worth talking about, Examples verse is decent but he isnt a great rapper. Tinie Tempah is awful, as is Giggs on this track, Tinchy isnt very good. Lyrically only Devlin is worth talking about. Grime is in a state.

I think it’s pretty shit. It’s like nobody bothered trying.

  • Thought Tempah’s and Tinchy’s verses were decent in my opinion. I don’t like Giggs at all to be fair. The beat is immense, as is the chorus. I do agree that the track wouldn’t be anywhere near as good without Devlin’s verse though.

When I say one of the biggest tracks in grime history, I don’t mean one of the best, I mean that in the grand scheme of things, this track will have made a massive impact on the scene, on a mainstream level anyway, (which is more my forte rather than the grime underground).

Never really liked Example but really feeling his verse on this. Oh and the less said about Prof Green, the better.
