When it comes to OTU matters, I derive the most pleasure from discovering a new act/sound that is so unique and diverse it simply has to be huge.
I thought I’d look into these guys after their likeable track with Christian Rich, and have a great feeling about them: they already have co-signs from the likes of N*E*R*D* and Diplo, and have some good buzz behind them.
Originally released back in April, it’s a glorious blend of alternative, chillout and pop from both a production and vocal standpoint. The relaxing, airy beat is supplemented nicely by some electronic elements, and all tied together by the best use of Autotune I’ve heard to date: they use it in accompaniment with actual vocals, which is a rare and enjoyable treat.
