From Bishop’s upcoming project The Shawshank Redemption, this is a great bit of introspective hip-hop. Lamont isn’t really known for his ability to put together some hip-hop for the thinking man, but this will definitely change that perception.
This has some familiarities to a couple of the more thoughtful Stat Quo tracks (the phenomenal Deliver Me in particular) and has a sombre beat and hook that definitely evoke images of the film after which this project is named.
Also, how good is that artwork?! Really looking forward to this project, and definitely want to watch the film again right now!
