Soul Mafia are described as an indie band from New York and Joe Budden has recently jumped on a single of theirs (which is set to be on their album, released next month). On the basis of this single I wouldn’t say they’re very ‘indie’ but they do derive their influences from the genre, as well as hip hop and soul. It makes an interesting mix, don’t you think?
