Rebirth

No, this post isn’t anything to do with Lil’ Wayne. It’s in fact Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s video for their new single which is from their upcoming album Uni-5: The World’s Enemy. Fans of Bone Thugs will be wet in anticipation for this album as it is the 1st album in over ten years to feature all 5 original members. Some of you may or may not know that Bizzy Bone was kicked out of the group in 2002 for being a literally mental, drug addicted alcoholic and Flesh-n-Bone had been incarcerated from 2000 up until his release from prison in 2008.

As for the track, I’m really liking this. It’s the classic Bone Thugs flow with an energetic beat. To me, and this is just my opinion, it sounds like the underlying message of this track is Bone Thugs going at all the young pretenders in hip hop who have jacked the style of sing-rapping they pioneered and that they’re back to put everyone in their place (hence the title of the track, ‘Rebirth’).

Check the video out and grab the mp3 (thanks to Chris for hooking me up with this quality track btw) for this below.

Ahhhhh nice post Indi! Not too sure about the video, but this song is sick! No Flesh verse in the video :( No wishe verse either :)

  • Hahaha, I immediately thought of you when I saw there was no Wish Bone verse! Needless to say I am as happy about that as you are.

Yeah the video is a little weird, I imagine their budget isn’t very big, hence the slightly lame visuals. I like how it just focuses on them though, flickering between each member like they’re all one entity.
