Some Party/Club Tracks For The Weekend

Keeping you provided with deliciously-packed posts of music! I actually really like the songs in this club music post. None of this is particularly mainstream, but it’s music that certainly is worthy of rockin’ any party, so hit the click.

Also, there’s a big album review coming later as promised, so be sure to keep an eye out for it!

Kid Sister-Right Hand Hi
-This track clearly draws on UK electro-style music for it’s production, but does so tastefully. The song is catchy, memorable and massively likeable. Given that I’m not a massive electro fan and I like this song, it speaks volumes and it’s cool to hear US artists drawing on the UK scene for inspiration. If you don’t know who Kid Sister is, click here for the video for her 2007 breakout hit Pro Nails (scroll down about halfway). She’s definitely a talent, and one for the future: Her blend of dance, hip-hop and other styles is one which will appeal to all tastes.

Trey Songz-Best I Ever Had Remix
-Trey Songz takes Drake’s smash-hit and flips it in a way only Trey can. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: No-one puts out better remixes than Trey Songz, and no-one puts out as many either! This is a definite download, not least for Trey’s displays of rapping ability, as well as his obvious singing gifts.

Mickey Factz-Rapio 2 Point OH
-Let’s throw in an older one. Don’t ask me what the title means, I have no idea. What I do know is that this is one of my favourite ‘uptempo’ tracks of the last 12 months. This was dropped back in December, but I expect that very few of you (unfortunately) have ever heard of Mickey Factz, let alone this track. It’s a must-download, as it is probably the ultimate party track. Thumping bass, catchy chorus, it’s got the lot. Believe me, this would improve any party/pre-night out you’re going to have. Guaranteed.
