As Promised, Here Is The New Jay-Z Track

Just like I promised, here is the event that is Jay-Z’s new single, Run This Town. This features Rihanna and Kanye West, so I don’t think I need to tell you where to click…

Thankfully, this track is good. It sounds like a Kanye production, although the drums sound like Timbaland’s. Either way, the beat is memorable and very likeable. It’s by far the best aspect of this track.

Rihanna makes her comeback to the spotlight and delivers a decent hook. It’s awesome that both her and Chris Brown are trying to put everything behind them and get along with their careers (Some new Chris Brown coming later). However, the chorus does get a little annoying after a few spins and does bring the song down a little.

Jay-Z’s verses show the variety he can provide in his flow, however he’s nowhere near top form lyrically. Kanye brings a verse in towards the end, and although it’s not spectacular, it’s still good and definitely adds to the song and it’s the best part of the song by far. It’s definitely a verse that grows on you.

As far as first singles go, Jay’s definitely going all out, and Run This Town will be an absolutely huge hit.

Enough delaying, enjoy the track below:
